Hello friend.
I create story-driven imagery with soul.
My best friends call me Scout. Maybe it’s because I’m a curious sort of human. Or because I’m terrible at turning around if there’s even the faintest possibility of something exciting just around the bend or over the ridge. I grew up in Alaska, with adventurous parents who passed on their ethos of social responsibility, environmentalism and adventure. After 16 years in Colorado I found myself drawn back north, and found myself back in the Pacific Northwest in 2018.
I’m in search of truth in my experiences, and the camera is my tool of choice for engagement with the world. I'm passionate about creating, building, and playing.
I’ve spent the last two decades working as a filmmaker and photographer—making documentaries, telling brand stories, and making up all sorts of magic along the way with my cameras. Story-telling has brought me to six of our continents (still holding out for the big pile of ice in the South). I’ve won a few awards and grants along the way, and had the great privilege of screening my films in festivals all over the globe.
Living out of a travel bag had its magical years, and these days I find myself much more rooted. Rooted in family, rooted in community rooted in this earthy, magical place we’ve chosen to call home.
My husband Corey and I often get to work together (he’s pretty dang good with a camera too;), and we spend half the summer in Bristol Bay, Alaska, fishing commercially for sockeye salmon, which we sell locally in the Gorge in addition to selling to the canneries in Naknek, AK. Raising our kids (and dogs—we fly them up every year!) in the same feral manner in which I was raised, connected with the Earth, our food, and all the creatures that inhabit, it gives me great joy.
I’m based in the Columbia River Gorge with my husband Corey Arnold, our children Wolfie and Shiloh Fox, and our animal friends Nooka Bear, Ruby Roo, Dewey and Duck.

My style
I like to play with color, mood and light. My preference is always to photograph you, your business or your family in the most real way possible. Doing things you love to do, in places that sing to your soul.
